T11 awarded DGNB pre-certification in silver
The DGNB quality seal has been awarded by the DGNB (German Association of Sustainable Building) since 01.01.2009 as recognition of energy efficient and sustainable building and is based on national and international standards and guidelines.
The evaluation of the building occurs in six categories and takes especially the life cycle costs in association with the ecology of the building materials used into consideration:
- Ecology
- Economics
- Socio-cultural and functional aspects
- Technology
- Processes
- Location
The building owner receives the quality seal from the DGNB after certification by an auditor.
The following DGNB quality seals are awarded depending on level of fulfilment:
Gold > 80 % of total per cent
Silver 65 - 80 % of total per cent
Bronze 50 - 64 % of total per cent
