KfW Westarkade Frankfurt am Main
The KfW banking group intends to expand its existing office space in Frankfurt am Main, in the Westend area of the city, on the grounds of the former university library in the Zeppelinallee. An approx. 15-storey building complex shall be built which will provide room for approx. 700 employees. The new building will have a multi-level connection to the existing building in the South. Above ground, a gross floor area of approx. 22,300 m² is planned. Below ground level, approx. 16,800 m² is planned.

Scope of services: 8,100 m² Aluminium double façades on upper floors, partly with polygonal external secondary façade, scaled floor plan with outward-opening room-height coloured rotating wings, 880 m² Steel-aluminium façade on 14th floor as so-called "screen wall", 700 m² Steel-aluminium P-B façade on ground floor, scaled floor plan, 540 m² Heat-insulating panel façade on 14th floor equipment façade, 7,500 m² sun protection as blind system in the cavity between the double façades, one façade access system incl. rail and points system
