Singapore is becoming increasingly important as a location due to its proximity to the expanding Asian markets. In the industrial zone, in the western part of the city-state, numerous pharmaceutical companies have established themselves, including among others, the Swiss pharmaceutical group Novartis, from Basel. Here the group is creating a new production location including an administration building for the manufacture of biotech medicines. This places particular demands on the facade. The cladding elements must satisfy clean room requirements in relation to the interiors.
